The time I went (instagram) house hunting.

London real estate is beyond my reach but it’s many Instagram homes are not. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite homes to photograph and am sharing them with you.

First up, this absolute SW stunner.

Located in McLeod’s Mews, this perfectly pruned mews home is my dream. Its perfect in summer when the sun is shining and just as perfect on an overcast winter day. From the potted plants to to portal windows, this lady looks good from any angle.

Next, the ‘Love Actually’ house.

No list would be complete without this Instagram icon in Notting Hill’s Saint Lukes Mews. This pretty pink home was once adorned with vines of jasmine, however she is just as lovely with out. The whole mews is great for photos, but this is it’s crown jewel.

Now for a gem hiding on Farm St. in Mayfair, just a stone’s throw away from Berkeley square.

Though technically not an original Tudor home, this lovely reconstruction was once home to Viscountess Furness who, its rumored, introduced Wallis Simpson to the prince and we all know how that ended!

Gorgeous all year long, this lovely home shines in the autumn.

If you happen to be in Hampstead, head up Fitzjohn’s Avenue to find this stunner. You’ll want to go a few times to get the best autumnal display.

This Cape Code-esk dream is in SE London and worth the trip.

White wood siding, blue shudders, classic picket fence, what more could you want? Visit this Dulwich house, on College Rd., in the summer to get the perfect sunny glow.

Fancy a home with a real plant problem? Then head to Chicwick.

Situated on the stunning Chiswick Mall, this home will not be ignored. Its corner location means you can grab multiple angles to this feat of nature.

How about something a bit more period, than look no further than East London.

Princelet Street is lined with period homes that often feature in historical films and tv dramas. This red beauty is as rustic on the inside as it is on the outside. A real fixer upper, some would say, but who would want to change a single thing?

Looking for something Lucky? How about lucky No. 7?

Situated at the corner of Jameson St. and Kensington Pl. this Instagram classic almost always has a car parked in front of it, so visit it early and often. Its best viewed in summer when it’s greenery is, well, green.

This is not a comprehensive list as there are loads more, honestly the list would go on forever, so maybe I’ll do a ‘part two.' I’ve tried to share homes that have loads of other photo ops near by so you get the most for your time. Also, all locations are approximate.

Let me know if your favorite is on this list or if I’ve missed it.

Wish you were here,

xoxo
