Houseplants have had a real glow up the last few years and many of us are clambering to get our hands on the latest trend in 'green thumb-ing.' Small shops are popping up all over London to meet these needs, providing products, guidance, workshops, and Instagram photo ops.

Forest located in East Dulwich (and Deptford) has a real hidden gem feel. The tiny East Dulwich location is loaded with plants from floor to ceiling.

My favorite are the succulents, easy to maintain and perfect for sunny windows, these popular plants make for great 'starter' plants. But the friendly employees at Forest can guide you to the right plant for your space and commitment level.

Along with plants, the Deptford shop carries a range of houseware items, and both locations botanical based candles and spa products. I love the nourishing hand balms and sea salt scrubs.

Forest in Deptford hosts a range of workshops from terrarium building, plant potting, flower arranging, candle making, and life drawing to name just a few.

Best of all Forest offers nationwide delivery so you can always get your plant fix.

Wish you were here,

xoxo
